It was a cold opening day at Spinney... Dan and Craig decided, with a week to go before Dan had to head back East, to hit Spinney for opening day. It is a day that neither of them will soon forget. After a slow, actually aweful morning, the guys went to the fly shop , picked up some egg patterns, and found a new spot. 45 minutes later dan hooked into what you see on the left...the rest of the day was pure fishing fantasy.
Here's Craig with a pretty 22" rainbow Between the two of them, Dan and Craig must have landed 25 fish that day. Dan getting the records for the largest 24"s and the smallest 18"s...yes the smallest was 18"s.

Weezer with a nice Colorado 20"er
Weezer's first trip to Colorado Weezer AKA (Mike) had the time of his life catching this nice 20" Colorado rainbow. His first few days fishing in Colorado were tough with the wind and high stream flows. By the end of his 10 day stay he was wishing he didn't have to leave. It was a trip he'll never forget. Especially the huge Rockie Mountain Special Breed Rainbows!!!!
Chucky's Brown An awesome Brown caught by Craig, at Paul & Annette's Place...Somewhere Colorado. Not a bad size for a native brown! This is one of the most colorful browns we have ever seen. Special thanks to Paul & Annette for giving us the opportunity to stalk & catch such beautiful fish.
